SWAP Update #5
I’m still working on the McCall’s 5471 muslin. I ran into a snag with the bubble sleeve and had it all messed up. I ended up re-cutting one sleeve and cuff so I could start over. I would like for it to be a wearable muslin. I might do a post on it, but I just needed to take a break. You know how it is.
Well, here are the skirt combos so far. What do ya’ll think?
Hi, D.Styles. Thanks for dropping by. I hope this won’t be your last visit!
I love the combos. I found your link thru live and learn & I’m glad I did!
I think it looks nice.
Hi, Carolyn. It was an either/or for me. The underlining took care of the thinness of the fabric.
This skirt is another great addition to the wardrobe! And works so well with all of your pieces…I especially like it with the S3631 jacket! I’m just wondering though why you didn’t add a lining even though you underlined the skirt?
I love all of your pieces. Great wardrobe.
Sigrid, your Burda skirt with the topstitching is to die for! Thanks for stopping by.
Paco, I found your blog through Gorgeous Things. I’m inspired by your impeccable attention to detail!
This is a beautiful wardrobe plan and I like the combinations with your skirt very much. Glad to have found your blog.
Hello, greetings from Barcelona (Spain). Thanks to put on your list of links. You have in your blog a wonderful job, really, I like a lot. Forgive my English but I need the help of a translator in order to write. Ah!, Jane Eyre is one of my favorite books, as well as all of the novels Bronthe sisters. Cheers and a big hug, Paco
Really is looking very good. Like the color combinations.
Beautiful job!I am loving all of it.It looks very elegant.
This skirt is so cute. I like everything you’ve done so far. I have that skirt on my cutting table to make up next. Great Job!!
this is a great wardrobe so far. classy and fresh. you’re making me *maybe* think about giving it another try
Love the skirt with the red top. I also like the jacket with the skirt. I might consider sewing the jacket, but with a different sleeve or some variation of sleeve. You are making great progress
