SWAP Update #5

I’m still working on the McCall’s 5471 muslin. I ran into a snag with the bubble sleeve and had it all messed up. I ended up re-cutting one sleeve and cuff so I could start over. I would like for it to be a wearable muslin. I might do a post on it, but I just needed to take a break. You know how it is.

Well, here are the skirt combos so far. What do ya’ll think?

  1. This skirt is another great addition to the wardrobe! And works so well with all of your pieces…I especially like it with the S3631 jacket! I’m just wondering though why you didn’t add a lining even though you underlined the skirt?

  2. Hello, greetings from Barcelona (Spain). Thanks to put on your list of links. You have in your blog a wonderful job, really, I like a lot. Forgive my English but I need the help of a translator in order to write. Ah!, Jane Eyre is one of my favorite books, as well as all of the novels Bronthe sisters. Cheers and a big hug, Paco

  3. Love the skirt with the red top. I also like the jacket with the skirt. I might consider sewing the jacket, but with a different sleeve or some variation of sleeve. You are making great progress
