SWAP Update #1
Well, here is it, so far! 2 out of 11 completed. Please don’t tell me I look like I’m wearing pajamas! The pants are a little more bulky in the waist than I imagined they would be. I guess that’s because of the thickness of the tweed. One thing is for sure, this outfit is…

Tri-fold Tea Wallet Tutorial
Designed by Annelise Pitt, owner of Thistledown Cozies. If you wish to buy Ms. Pitt’s tea wallets and other tea accessories, you may purchase them at the Thistledown Cozies website. Okay, ya’ll, here’s my tutorial for making this tea wallet. I’m sure this is not the only way or most efficient way to make this…

African Dress
I’m working on a McCall’s 4002 caftan and head wrap for a woman who is going with her mother to Rwanda next month to minister to abused women. I had some work cut out for me (pardon the pun) when I started. The pieces for View D, the caftan, were already cut out by the…

Can a Woman Have Too Many Purses?
I’ve kind of been on this Amy Butler kick recently and have fallen in love with her Frenchy and Kimberly bags. I purchased some fabulous fabric from Tonic Living for my very own Frenchy bag. This fabric will be the exterior. And this will make up the lining. I plan on making an exact replica…

I love your SWAP, and your long dress as well.
I also appreciate the Bible verse you have on your profile. It was very encouraging to me personally today. I am a single mom who was injured at work and who expects to be fired as a result. I have no savings due to cancer treatment and no outside income. I have been a bit discouraged about my job hunt, and this was very, very encouraging. Thank you, and please keep me in your prayers.
Really like what you do with SWAP’s. This is very nice!
