New Aquisitions; Summer SWAP Progress

I picked up these patterns several days ago. Yeah…I’m becoming a pattern-a-holic! LOL! I just love Vogue 1020 for it’s casual elegance. Also, the second dress just inspires me. It’s so pretty. I don’t have any fabric in mind for these patterns yet; I just wanted to have them in my collection for use in the near future. Vogue 1027
Vogue 2940

I picked these other patterns up during some sale. Simplicity 2926

SUMMER SWAP PROGRESS: In the Pink! (and some gray)
Completed: New Look 6470 Top.
Semi-complete: Vogue 1020 Skirt. I need to fix the elastic waist. It calls for 1″ wide elastic for the waist. I didn’t have any, so I tried to insert two strips of 1/2″ elastic. Did. Not. Work.
Incomplete: Vogue 1020 Jacket. I need to slip stitch the collar to the jacket and add the sleeves.
I’ll most likely post a review of the New Look top this weekend. These other two may take a bit.

Be blessed!

  1. @gold and Jackie:

The skirt and the top were very easy and went together in one evening. The jacket is taking a little longer because of the slip stitching. I probably won’t finish it until this weekend.
